The gala is about raising money to help research a cure and viable therapeutics for individuals with Angelman Syndrome.  However this event does so much more than that.  Advocacy, support, friendship, celebration, and hope are also a major part of this evening.  The ability to have a special night as you celebrate your "Angel" and your family.  The moments shared with others who "get it" are invaluable.  You walk in excited to get away for a night, relax, and enjoy the evening.  You walk out hopeful, refreshed, exhilarated, powerful, and most of all you don't walk out alone.  Each of us has a story that inspires the other.  Through this inspiration we will continue to advocate and raise money and hear Arianna and all of her Angel friends say "Mommy and Daddy, I love you!"
